December 2023 Business Review

December is often a surprisingly busy month despite the Christmas and New Year Break seeing active business ending around the 22nd this year.

This year was no exception with the team assisting a wide range of customers across various industries and across multiple product lines.

It was a bumper month for our funeral finance division with three 6 figure transactions funding hearses and funeral limousines for funeral directors based in Sheffield, Cardiff and Southampton. As the most experienced broker in this space, our detailed industry-specific knowledge, and trusted supplier relationships, helped secure outstanding terms and very keen pricing for all three. It was a pleasure to re-engage with two returning clients and welcome a new one to the fold.

Elsewhere we supported two South Wales firms operating in the utility contracting sector in funding new commercial vehicles to support their growth as a result of extended contracts. We have ensured that we engage very closely, and very early, with both firms to ensure we are handily placed to deliver the funding required at very short notice, and its fantastic to see them grow.

We ended the month by assisting two returning haulage clients with new and used commercial vehicle funding offering both the cashflow benefit of 3 month VAT deferrals as part of a competitively priced funding package.
